You cleared today's world.
Come back tomorrow for new headlines, new regions.
Move with A/D or arrow keys (or the on-screen buttons), jump with W/↑/space. Click or tap to fire a laser — some things fight back, so shoot first.
Every day, several real current headlines (from Wikipedia's news feed, standing in for trending topics — there is no free key-less feed of X's own trends) each grow one region of a shared side-scrolling world: their words pick a biome and a mood, and the sentiment and actions in the headline become the glow, scale and colour of what's placed there — an "alarming" headline's region fights back, red-ringed things there will shoot or hurt you on contact, so clear them or dodge them. Everyone who visits today shares the same live world. Source.
